Here is a systematic, step-by-step way to study the foundational soul lore material that is already on this website and in my books, which has a lot of ‘moving parts’ and complexity. There are 15 steps in the program, each with its own reading assignments, soul lore exercises, along with additional activities such as the creation and hallowing of soul-tokens, and soul initiation ceremonies. I hope this study program simplifies and enriches your efforts if you wish to pursue a systematic study and practice of soul lore.
In addition, I’ve published a Workbook to be used with Book II or the Study Guides on this website. It incorporates all the program guidelines for each step, the questions from Book II / Study Guides with space to write in your answers, and copies of the initiation ceremonies and meditations for each of the souls. Of course you can always use an ordinary journal along with the books and website material, instead of the workbook, if you prefer. Here is the link to the Workbook:

Among the new elements here are the soul initiation ceremonies, and guidelines for making soul-tokens as tools for soul lore practice if you wish to do so. The initiation ceremony for each soul is a simple attunement and a promissory note to your own soul that you will be open to getting to know it better and improving its integration into the fullness of your life at all levels. Again, everything is optional. I provide tools, guidelines and information. It’s your choice how you want to use them!
Another thing I’m adding is a bindrune representing my perceptions of the souls that I discuss in each of the soul lore study guides, although I am not offering any teaching on rune-lore. These bindrunes are already available in my soul lore Book II (“A Personal Approach”). These are for use as runic soul-meditations for those who already know or are learning rune-lore–a way to expand your understanding of both soul lore and rune lore. For those who do know rune-lore, I encourage you to design your own bindrunes to express each of your own unique souls more accurately than I could ever do.
I hope this program layout will prove helpful if you want to study my approach to Heathen soul lore systematically. Gods’-speed to you, and enjoy the work! And to inspire you further, here is a beautiful painting of the World-Tree by Heathen soul lore student Laurie Inn, surrounded by the bindrunes I mentioned in the preceding paragraph. This painting illustrates the cover of the Heathen Soul Lore Workbook.
